Women with disabilities receive a discussion of self-esteem, self-esteem and well-being
- September 12, in commemoration of the National Day of Women with Disabilities
Zacatecas, Zac., September 20, 2022.- Through the Institute for the Care and Inclusion of Persons with Disabilities, the government of Zacatecas, led by President David Monreal Ávila, presents conversations on self-love, self-esteem and well-being aimed at women with disabilities.
The Head of Inclusion and Secretaries of Administration and Women, Miriam García Zamora, Veronica Yvette Hernández López de Lara and Zaira Yvonne Villagraña Escarano, respectively, reiterated the commitment to gender equality and the struggle that the sector continues to achieve. Equal conditions, both social and labor, and thus contribute to the regeneration of the social fabric of Zacatecans.
At the event held at the Zacatecas Municipal Culture House, officials gave their full support, especially to women with disabilities.
The talk was given by speaker Alexa Castillo Najera Zaliv, a woman with disabilities and extensive experience in feminist activism for diversity inclusion.
It was listened to attentively by various groups of women with disabilities, who thanked the Zacatecas government for making them visible and considering them for these kinds of activities that are sorely lacking.
